Privacy Policy

We collect only what the service needs: on the website, the inquiry you choose to send; in Daimonia App, the phone number you sign in with and your usage records. We keep that information confidential, under contract and under the law. This page says what we hold, where it lives, how long we keep it, when we will come back to ask for your consent, and how to exercise your rights.

Last updated: September 9, 2026 · Version 2026-09-09

Scope

This policy applies to the following websites and products operated by Hangzhou Daimonia Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (“we”):

  • Websites: daimonia.ai (including the www and stg subdomains) and daimonia.cn
  • Daimonia App, the product portal: app.daimonia.cn, and app.daimonia.ai for the international side

Below, “the website” means the first two and “Daimonia App” means the portal. By submitting a form on the website or signing in to Daimonia App, you confirm that you have read this policy. Use of Daimonia App is also governed by the Terms of Service; the full list of cookies is in the Cookie Policy.

What we collect

Grouped by what you are doing.

Browsing the website

The website is a static site. Browsing it does not require any personal information.

We use web analytics to understand which pages get read, where visits come from, and where people drop off. It records page addresses, referring addresses, browser and device type, screen size, language, and approximate location derived from your IP (country, region, and city level). Recognizing the same visitor does not use a cookie; it relies on an identifier computed from your IP, browser characteristics, and similar signals, and we do not keep the raw IP address. On top of that we look at navigation paths and returning visits. Once you sign in to Daimonia App, your usage is tied to your account, described under “Usage records” below.

In future we may extend this to marketing-related processing, such as measuring how our advertising performs, showing ads again to people who have visited the website, or bringing in third-party advertising services. Before any of that starts, we update this policy to say what it is for; anything that needs a cookie gets its own category in the Cookie Policy and goes under your choice in the cookie notice; and where the law requires separate consent, we ask for it separately.

Where those statistics live follows the site: analytics for daimonia.cn and Daimonia App run on a service we host ourselves, with the data stored in mainland China and not leaving it; daimonia.ai serves an audience outside mainland China and uses an analytics service located outside it, with the data stored there. See “Where it is stored and for how long”.

Our hosting and content-delivery providers process network data such as IP addresses at the infrastructure level to keep the service secure; see “Third-party services”. The website uses only necessary and preference cookies, listed in the Cookie Policy.

Submitting an inquiry form

What you fill in: name, company or organization, contact details (phone / WeChat / email), industry, target market, project type, budget range, main goal, start time, preferred platforms, message.

What the system records for anti-spam and source analysis: browser User-Agent and the address of the page you submitted from; on daimonia.ai, also your IP country / region code (such as “CN”). Neither site stores the full IP address.

Signing in to and using Daimonia App

  • Account information: phone number (your sign-in credential; in the first phase we provision accounts for partner clients), display name, organization and brands, member role.
  • Sign-in records: the SMS verification code (valid for 10 minutes, stored only as a hash), sign-in sessions (IP address, browser User-Agent, creation and last-active times), and an audit log of actions such as sign-in and sign-out (including IP address).
  • Captcha: to prevent SMS flooding, a captcha runs before a code is sent. The captcha component sends device and interaction signals to its provider to tell a person from a bot. It carries no identity information.
  • Usage records: to diagnose faults, measure how features are used, and improve the product and service, we record how you use Daimonia App: which pages you open, which features you use, which errors you hit, and when. These records are tied to your account and stored in mainland China.
  • Brand data: the brand material you or your organization configure or upload in Daimonia App, such as brand name, brand facts, source URLs, and the list of monitored questions. This is your organization’s business data and is usually not personal information; where it contains personal information, your organization, as the provider, is responsible for its lawfulness. The scope of use for this material, including improving and developing our services, is set out in section 5 of the Terms of Service.

Sensitive information and automated decisions

Today we do not collect sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers, financial account numbers, biometrics, or precise location; if the business later needs any of it, we will tell you and ask for your separate consent as the law requires. Today we also make no automated decisions about you; if we introduce automated decision-making or targeted recommendations, we will offer an option that is not based on your personal characteristics, or an easy way to refuse, as the law requires.

AI platform data is not about you

Daimonia App’s AI mindshare reports come from questions we put to AI platforms (such as Doubao, DeepSeek, and ChatGPT) and the public answers we collect. This collection runs on our own accounts and never involves your account, your conversations, or any personal information about you.
